History

Established in 1996......

Objectives

To promote the development of the local fishery with emphasis on sports and recreational fishing.
To encourage and provide practical opportunities for the promotion of Sports Fishing as a visitor attraction activity.
To assist and liaise with the Ministry of responsible for Fisheries in the general development of recreational and sport fishing in Samoa.
To Promote and provide practical opportunities for fellowship, tolerance and understanding among the local fisherman and members of SIGFA.
To provide its members from time to time with safe boating and fishing information and any other information concerning the objectives of SIGFA.
